The Shelter

The Cirriform SW is an ultralight, one-piece tent crafted from the latest materials and optimized for efficiency. As a SingleWall tent, the silnylon floor and noseeum mesh walls are integrated into the cuben rain fly for easy setup and to maximize interior volume. The shelter makes use of your trekking poles for support (tent poles optional) so that you don't need to carry any extra weight. Mosquitos are kept at bay by 360° mesh panels which also provide ventilation or easily cinch shut to block cold drafts. The Cirriform's performance has been proven over thousands of miles by thru-hikers on the Pacific Crest, Continental Divide, and Appalachian Trails.

  • Deep tub for a spacious interior.
  • Tapered tub walls for extra elbow room.
  • Tub floor collapses by 6" for low pitches.
  • Zippered beak rolls completely out of the way.
  • Waterproof Cuben Fiber has little stretch.
  • LineLoc Tensioners and Dyneema guyline included.
  • Taped seams on cuben fly never need sealing
    (floor's corners should be sealed)
  • 360° mesh panels for ventilation.
  • Side mesh panels cinch shut to block cold air or excessive spray.
  • Two interior stash pockets.

Craftsmanship

Exceptional build quality, thoughtful design and meticulous attention to detail - key elements of a great shelter. (more info)

  • Seams are bonded with transfer tape, then reinforced with an additional cuben.
  • Peaks are reinforced with offset radial cuben patches on both sides of the fabric.
  • Primary tie-out locations utilize radial reinforcements.
  • Tie-outs fashioned from cuben are x-box stitched to the tarp. Cuben applied to both sides protects stitching and promotes superior load transfer.
  • Floor and walls are taped to the fly, not sewn.

Note: YAMA logo is not present on production tarp.
